"Disappointed with Lack of Guidance and Support After being a loyal State Farm customer for nearly 30 years, I'm deeply disappointed with the service I received during my recent move to South Carolina. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1- Lack of information: When I changed my address, I was not informed about the requirements to transfer my policy to South Carolina. This led to me unknowingly breaking the law and paying higher Florida premiums unnecessarily. 2- Poor communication: The agent failed to provide clear guidance on how to handle insurance matters when moving between states. 3- Insufficient assistance: When I needed help providing proof of insurance to the South Carolina DMV, the agent was unable to offer meaningful support or alternatives. 4-Lack of proactive customer service: As a long-term customer, I expected more personalized attention and proactive advice to prevent these issues. While I understand that agents may have limitations, better communication and a more customer-focused approach could have prevented these problems."

"I have been with State Farm since 1989. This review was from a horrible dreadful experience I had with this agency in the past. However, it was removed I am assuming because I used names? Either way all members of my household are not insured through another company other than State Farm all together. Horrible customer service, lack of communication or any follow up this office made me almost move all of my cars from SF to another agency all together. How I wound up at Cynthia D'amico's office : My stepdaughter went onto Statefarm.com and filled out the application for the credit card and at the end there was a "What else can we help you with" and it listed Auto, Home, Business etc insurance. So we just clicked the Auto button. The next day we get a phone call from Heather at Cynthia D'Amico's State Farm office. Heather give us a cost for my step daughter to be insured. We were so excited because the rate was significantly cheaper than what she is paying now. Heather even told us that if Kourtney could get a "Good Student" letter it would save her another $20 a month for the next 5 years. I then personally went into Cynthia's office and spoke with Heather and the supervisor Alex to explain that about 3 years she had gotten tickets up in Illinois, she got pulled over for no blinker but upon that stop she was cited with expired tags and no registration but this was her mothers vehicle. My Step daughter had hired a lawyer for these tickets and I wanted to be up front full disclosure and informed of this. They ran her license and said everything was fine. I then emailed Didi from the other State Farm office to request for all of our vehicles to be switched over to Cynthia D'Amico's office. Didi replied asking for me to please stay with her office and I replied to her stating that we were getting conflicting information and to please call us. To that Didi's reply was "I spoke with Angela and discovered your daughter was driving illegally. I would be happy to honor your request to transfer to another agent. It gives State Farm the opportunity to review your household when changes are made. They will make sure that your household is rated properly. Thank you for the time you where with my agency. Best wishes." but refused to return my call!! I then sent the email thread between Didi and myself to Cynthia since she is the actual agent and have her possibly look into why her staff and another SF agent was giving me conflicting information. It took her almost a week to respond and she responded "I spoke with a supervisor and because I am not the agent of record they were, unfortunately, not able to discuss all of the details of your account. I did, however, receive an email from the other agent, and she explained to me that Kourtney was driving on a suspended driver's license with expired tags. Unfortunately, with this new information, the other again would be correct in regards to insuring my step child. Also, if your policies are not Guaranteed Renewable, we could not guarantee that your household would not be affected. I hope this helps to clarify the situation. Please let me know if you have any further questions." I replied immediately that my step daughter has nor had ever driven illegally or had a suspended license and to please call me. I waited 6 minutes and called the office and was informed that Cynthia had left already I waited 24 hours and tried to get Cynthia again via phone and was told she was not in. At this point I called State Farm 800# which I explained that my step daughter has NEVER had a suspended license or driven illegally and the problem I was having with conflicting stories. The 800# put me on hold and escalated my call to which the lady said she needed to get underwriting involved. 45 minutes later I was told underwriting gave my stepdaughter the green light and that she was good to go and had nothing on her license! Any business that can not return a phone call within 24 hours is a shame!!! Especially when they email you with false information!!!"

"I have had State Farm since I learned to drive decades ago. Everyone has always told me that I need to shop around, SF is "so expensive." Let me tell you, since I've moved to Florida, Alex Sotelo has gone above and beyond making sure I am getting the best value for my dollar (whether it is homeowner or car or whatever) while providing prompt and thoughtful service. I cannot thank him enough. I am a nightmare worrier and he takes it all in stride. I highly recommend."
